I am moving.

after nursing school, I am moving into these amazing apartments in city centre.

My friend and I went to visit them the other day and I must say, I fell in love.

located in the upscale, urban-ish west side of suburban Houston

this is the main lounge downstairs...
The only thing missing is the beach..So when can I move in?

I always compare myself to my sister, and she always had cute apartments, even though she didn't go to college. I want lovely things. Can i please have ONE lovely thing in my life.

The moment I walked in to that place, I knew I belonged there. The only problem is that it is MUY expensivo.

How much do nurses make again?

Small Update

I have been feverishly busy.

I saw Sherlock Holmes: Best Movie I've seen in a while, even though it made my head spinnnnnnn.

I had an amazingly fabulous Christmas.

I would upload pictures, but guess who left their camera cord in the dorm room?
Myself.
soooo it will be a while till I can show and tell

I may or may not have received this Amazing Juicy Couture purse.

Among other great gifts.

I loved my Christmas cards from Sara-Jane and Amanda Leeann :) they sooo made my season more festive.

Wow, this post has been sufficiently worthless..

My Birthday is tomorrow!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Hot or Not: Come Sail Away with me

Hulu is amazing..
I know I'm probably the last person on the face of this earth to jump on the "Hulu" bandwagon, but better late then never.

Have I spent the last five hours watching the "Sing-Off"? Yes.

If you like Glee, You'll LOVE this show.

An IMAX3D Movie Review

FACTS:
I payed a small fortune to see it in IMAX 3D.
I complained about the movie about an hour before seeing it because I did not want to.
I got a huge headache from the 3D glasses in the first five minutes of the previews.
The movie is over two hours long - going on three.

But I LOVED IT!!

I hate movies about aliens. A lot. I simply do not care to hear their made-up language, or learn about their made up culture.

so lets turn this human hottie

into this giant cat-alien-NAVI hottie! With the giant-cat-alien-princess-mate.

Another reason I thought I fersher wouldn't like this movie is because It's a war movie.
I'm all about peace, brother.

AND it takes place way in the future. I usually don't go for movies about, or that take place in, the future.

Good for this movie, I was really able to get into it for some reason.

I may have been distracted by the amazingness that is Sigourney Weaver.

Overall, I highly recommend it for families, young adults, dumb middle schoolers... It really is very well made. There's kind of a moral in the end.. Sort of.

Go Forth and See it!!

If Josh Peck can do it...

Seriously,
If our beloved Josh Peck of "Drake and Josh" can lose an insane amount of weight and become unnaturally attractive, SO CAN I!!!

He makes for some handsome inspiration.

Hopefully my before and after pictures will turn out as amazing as his.

Good News: I am finally able to go home today! I'm through with all my finals and I somehow managed to escape with four A's and two B's. Not too shabby, If I may say so.
My dorm room is beginning to feel like a jail cell. In a short nine hours or so, I'll be home and able to see my friends and family. But I won't be eating.. that's not part of my diet.

I am so excited for Christmas!

Rules for Being Human

by Cherie Carter-Scott
1.
You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it's yours to keep for the entire period.
2.
You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called, "life."
3.
There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error, and experimentation. The "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiments that ultimately "work."
4.
Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go on to the next lesson.
5.
Learning lessons does not end. There's no part of life that doesn't contain its lessons. If you're alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned.
6.
"There" is no better a place than "here." When your "there" has become a "here", you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here."
7.
Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.
8.
What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.
9.
Your answers lie within you. The answers to life's questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen, and trust.
10.
You will forget all this.

Number ten is my favorite. Kinda reminds me of finals.
My last one is tomorrow then I can go home!!
Wish me luck.

CFA

Waste some time watching this video. The handsome guy's name is Jordan Sasser. He goes to UNC and he's amazing. My friend Jordan told me about him, and now I'm addicted. Search for him on Youtube, you won't regret it (right away..).

I don't usually swoon over boys, but there's something about a guy that can sing for meee.

all i want for Christmas is youuuuuu

There are some things I've had my eye on all year... It's CHRISTmas and my birthday. I get lucky.

1. New Phone: Samsung Behold. I must have it. I'm sick of my current phone.

2. New Running Shoes: Nike Shox. My current tennis shoes are falling apart... Literally.

3. Ed Hardy Perfume. It smells glorious!

5. Nintendo Wii and assorted games. The dorm gets boring.

6. Dresses. My goal is to transform my wardrobe to consist mainly of dresses. Be jealous.

7. Dodge Charger. Wait, what?

Merry Christmas! I'm off to be attacked by my finals :)

My friends are cute.

We do cute things
Like eat yogurt. There's this nifty yogurt place a short ten minutes form campus called Yogurt Story. You could say my friends and I are addicted. And we never turn down a photo-shoot!

Yogurt is yummy. and you can put pretty much whatever you want in it because you pay by the ounce. In the words of Allison, it is el cheap!

I hate ending all of my posts with questions, but
What cute things do you do with your friends?

CHRISTmas in the dorm....

I went a little crazy today and I finally wrapped gifts for my (few) friends at school. I got them all the same thing. How nice of me. My fingers are sore from all that wrapping.

AND I wrapped my door! I was hoping it would come out better.
While I was wrapping it, my RA came up and said that I had to leave 1/4th of it uncovered. This is the dumbest rule I've ever heard. I also have to leave a whole for the peep-hole thing. UGH. I was thinking it would come out looking better, but I think the pattern of the paper was too busy for like an entire door :/

final result

"I like to think of the door as wearing a short Christmas dress.."

close-up of the paper

What helps you get into the CHRISTmas spirit?!

Follow Friday

On Twitter every Friday there's a trending topic known as #followfriday(#ff) where everyone tweets about interesting twitter accounts they think should be followed based on.. interesting-ness..

I'm going to start making a follow post every Friday. Today I'll start with neat blogs I've been reading lately.

1. I Wrote This For You - ok so this guy, Iain Thomas, writes cute little micro stories that apply to you and only you. I can't stop reading them. If you're my friend on facebook, you're probably sick of my statuses about them. He is amazing. Go follow his blog and get a daily dose of inspiration.

2. The Sentance Sleuth - Written by Bonnie Trenga. I cannot possibly be the last teenager that cares about proper grammar usage and style. (Is it weird that I want her novel, Curious Case of the Misplaced Modifier, for CHRISTmas?) I like reading Sentence Sleuth because it gives me that frequent update on grammarian usage and common mistakes.

3. Freshness Factor Five-Thousand - This blog is written by Jason Mraz. It's about the environment and how to make the world a better place. Nothing more needs to be said.

Go forth and Follow!
